A bit about Bonnie
Jan. 15th, 2015 07:45 pm“Kitt: It’s no use Michael. Not a trace of the semi’s homing signal.
Michael: Bonnie designs homing devices like black boxes in aircraft, they don’t break, kitt.
Kitt: Are you suggesting it was deactivated?
Michael: Yeah! And unless I’ve missed my guess one of the hijackers knows computers.”

Kitt: Speaking of oddballs, don’t you think it’s about time you took off that hat?
Michael: *insulted tone* No way pal! I earned my right to wear this hat. I got more bruises than the Big Apple has Bagels. Why don’t yah like it?
Kitt: Well, after what you said to that cowgirl in the Hip-Huggers Chaps….
Michael: *laughs a little* that was a joke. I’m not getting a set of horns for a hood ornament.
Kitt: *still slightly offended tone* What about the palomino upholstery? And the Six shooters for door handles?
Michael: Now, that would be nice.
Devon: *laughs a little as he is patched in* A horse shoe from the rear-view mirror might be a good touch.

TRACY CHAPMAN LYRICS
"Fast Car"
you got a fast car
Is it fast enough so we can fly away?
We gotta make a decision
Leave tonight or live and die this way
So remember when we were driving driving in your car
Speed so fast I felt like I was drunk
City lights lay out before us
And your arm felt nice wrapped ‘round my shoulder
And I had a feeling that I belonged
I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone

A GREAT BIG WORLD LYRICS
"Say Something"
Say something, I’m giving up on you
I’ll be the one, if you want me to
Anywhere I would’ve followed you
Say something, I’m giving up on you
And I am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all
And I will stumble and fall
I’m still learning to love
Just starting to crawl
Say something, I’m giving up on you
I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you
Anywhere I would’ve followed you
Say something, I’m giving up on you
And I will swallow my pride
You’re the one that I love
And I’m saying goodbye
Say something, I’m giving up on you
And I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you
And anywhere I would’ve followed you (Oh-oh-oh-oh)
Say something, I’m giving up on you
Say something, I’m giving up on you
Say something…
Trapped: Knight Rider 1982 Fan Fiction
Dec. 29th, 2014 01:26 am((This is still a rough draft. AU Michael and Bonnie interaction))
Moments ago:
Menacing Laughter fades away and the slam of the air tight door signaled the exit of the crooked bank employees. Currently the two flag agents find themselves locked into a bank vault that will not re-open for twenty-four hours.
Now:
"MIIIICHHAEEEL!" Bonnie fumed tugging on her locks of brunette hair.
"Bonnie….. relax. It’s gonna be okay," the curly haired man answered reassuringly.
Bonnie’s lips pressed together firmly in a displeased frown and she answered, “Relax? Michael do you realize the severity of the situation?!” She edged closer to him and raised her hand as if to strike him, but she repressed the urge to follow through with the violent act. Instead, she ran her raised hand through her thick hair.
Irate the female mechanic continued, “First you loose KITT in some …. some … street race! Then… ohhh..ohhh… then you just had to go and press a few buttons… didn’t you?! Did you honestly expect them to come right out and confess?” She seethed imagining steam to be coming out both of her ears.
Michael quietly placed his hands on her shoulders and said, “Bonnie… Bonnie… please. I know what I am doing… this… this entrapment is only a temporary set back.” He flashed a charming and slightly apologetic smile at his feisty co-worker.
Bonnie bit her lip and despite all her efforts to stay furious, his smile melted away every ounce of rage. However, that did not mean she was particularly fond of his rash actions and or the consequences.
"What do we do now… any more bright ideas?" Bonnie asked daring her annoyingly charming co-worker to think of a solution.
Michael answered with a sigh, “Yeah. My idea is that we get out of here, get KITT back, and put away those criminals.” He gave her the obvious plan of action because at the moment, without KITT he was drawing nothing but blanks. He would never admit that to Bonnie because then she might really kill him.
Wiping her brow Bonnie answered, “I figured that much…. Michael. We’re stuck in here aren’t we?” She asked knowing what the answer would be already but she humored herself by asking anyways.
Michael’s eyebrows quirked revealing his sparkling blue eyes and a devious smile crossed over his face. Then with the most irresistibly charming tone he answered, “I wouldn’t say stuck Dr. Barstow.”
Bonnie let out a short amused giggle and defiantly returned, “then what would you call our predicament Mr. Knight?”
Michael smirked and took Bonnie’s hand, “well, you know I had been wanting to get some quality alone time with you anyways. Now that you don’t seem to have anything on your plate….”
"Oh no…. no.. no…..Michael….no…" Bonnie interjected with a blush and crooked smile as she tried to pull her hand away from his. Whether his grasp was too strong or she secretly allowed him to keep her hand in his, she would not know for certain.
Michael put on a mock insulted frown and said, “ah, sorry Bons. I never intended for our date to be in such a secluded location. I would have intended for there to be some mood music, flowers, champaign, and the likes yah know.”
"A date? A date? Mr. Knight!" Bonnie swatted Michael playfully and she replied, “oh would you stop it!” Then with a flattered smile and slight blush she added, “you are having way too much fun with this! How about you seriously think about getting us out of this mess!”
Michael released her hand in order to clutch his chest in mock surprise and shock. “Why Bons, you’re not having fun with me?” He asked in a pained tone. Then impulsively he grabbed her arm and spun her around. Michael soothingly added,”Come on Bons…. live a little.”
Bonnie spun and smiled shyly, “what….wh…what are you doing … Michael?”
"Dance with me Bons" Michael cheerfully announced, coiling his strong arm around Bonnie’s waist and placing the other upon her shoulder.
"Michael…. I don’t know that this is such a good idea. I mean… " Bonnie started with an ever deepening blush.
Her handsome co-worker smiled and “shushed” her. Bonnie not having much choice, followed Michael in small circles about the vault.
They danced till neither of them could stand any longer. The two co-workers sat down opposite each other for the first time without any obstacles, interference, or comfortable music to cushion the awkwardness of silence between them. The stillness lasted only a few moments before Michael spoke, “Bons, I’ve got something to ask you… but if it makes you uncomfortable, you don’t have to answer it. Okay?”
Bonnie’s blue green eyes studied Michael’s deep blues for a moment uncertain of wether she should consent to his line of random questioning. “Okay, Michael… what do you want to know?”
The man smirked playfully as she consented to answering his unusual request. “Okay Bons, well…… do you like me?”
Bonnie’s eyes squinted in confusion. Of all the question she had never imagined hearing this one. In fact she was so stunned she sat there silently blinking for a few moments. Then nervously she answered, “of..of course I like you…. Michael. Why would you ask that?”
Michael allowed a smug smile to cross over his face as she admitted to liking him. Then slyly he asked, “do yah like me cause we work together or do yah like me because I am charming?”
Bonnie giggled softly and replied,”what? Oh Michael.”
"No seriously…answer me Bons. It’s important." The curly haired male asked with a concerned frown.
To this the female mechanic fell silent to reflect upon a way to answer his question without inflating Michael’s ego any.
"Well… I….well…uhm…" a flustered blush arose in her cheeks as she stammered. Michael’s eyebrows rose in dramatic arches.
"I like you as a co-worker and a friend I suppose." She replied averting her gaze slightly. Immediately she added, "why do you ask? Then allowing her eyes to lock on Michaels’ hauntingly enchanting blues she awaited his answer.
Michael rose his hands in mock surrender and offered her an innocent smile. In a sweet tone he continued, “I was just asking.”
Bonnie smiled and then asked, “Well… Mr. Knight, would you care to explain why you asked? Surely, you must of had a reason.” The female mechanic added gently.
Michael’s face lit up with a brilliant sparkling grin and then with a devious tone he replied, “oh…nothin…. I just I… uhhm…. Bonnie…. I don’t know how to say this…” He began to nervously play with his hands.
Bonnie’s gaze lowered as she tired to calculate and decode the unspoken suggestion with no avail. “Well, just say it Michael. Oh, come on I don’t believe you’ve ever been at a loss for words before!”
Michael chuckled though he found her comment a tad insulting. “Well, the fact is…. that I like you too Miss Barstow.”
At this statement, Bonnie’s eyes lifted to meet his. A blush lit up her face and she stammered, “what…. what….? Really? Michael…. I didn’t know you cared.”
Michael’s innocently charming smile lowered into a disappearing frown and he clasped her arms in his own, “Bonnie, yah really didn’t know?” He asked his tone rang with horrified shock.
Bonnie swallowed harshly and studied her co-worker for a few moments in silence. “I….. I….” her face burned a bright red with embarrassment. Her gaze once more averted and she fell silent.
Michael taking this to mean no, scooted closer to Bonnie and continuing to cling on to her arms he began, ” Bonnie, I care. I really do. In fact…. if I can be so bold can I please confess something to yah?”
Bonnie’s eyes trained on him in half annoyance and half stupefied surprise. “Michael…. I … don’t think…..” she started but all her vocabulary seemed to evaporate from her memory as she lost herself in his deep blues. The female mechanic sighed and replied, “Sure…. you can tell me anything.”
Michael swallowed deeply pulling her hands towards him. Her hands were cold and trembling so, the charming knight and agent drew her hands to his lips. “Bonnie, I….. I think you are beautiful.”
Bonnie’s head ducked lowly and she breathily hissed, “oh Michael….. this vault air is playing tricks on your mind.” She laughed gently dismissing his sudden display of romance as a joke or a symptom of being trapped with him in a vault.
Michael’s eyes narrowed as she dismissed his honest and heart felt gesture. “No, Bons. I am being serious. I like you… a lot. I mean….” the flustered male freed one of his hands and ran it through his vivacious curls.
Bonnie didn’t know what to make of it. But the vault had grown especially cold and so she shivered slightly. Her teeth chattered as she answered softly, “I….I like you too Michael…. “
The male’s eyes lit up at her words and a smile swiftly tugged at his cheeks. “Bonnie you look cold……” he noted in concern. The gentleman of an agent stood up and took his black leather jacket off and handed it to the shuddering mechanic.
Bonnie stared at him and sternly replied, “don’t you need your coat? Michael, you shouldn’t have to give me your coat.”
"Ah, don’t be so stubborn Bonnie. I can tell that you are freezing… I’ll be fine," Michael answered draping the coat over her shoulders like a cape.
Then sitting down again he beckoned her to curl up next to him. She refused not wishing to get that close to her co-worker. Especially, since they were all alone with stacks of cold money flanking them on all sides and there was no one to protect her from his charm.
However, when she noticed that he was shivering, Bonnie finally caved. With a sigh she scooted over till she was at his side. “Oh… Michael… you are cold… do you want you jacket back?” She asked sympathetically.
Stubbornly, Michael answered through clenched teeth, “no you keep it on. I’ll be fine.”
Bonnie knowing Michael to be slightly egotistical and proud allowed herself to wrap her arms around him. His eyes sparkled jovially in surprise as she curled up next to him and a triumphant grin lit up his face. He pulled her into his side tightly.
"Hey Bonnie, I didn’t know yah cared so much." He whispered contently in her ear.
Bonnie’s head came to rest on his sturdy shoulder and she whispered back, “I do care Michael. I’ve always cared.”
The curly topped FLAG agent ‘s eyes lowered to stare at his lovely mechanic and friend. He had never thought he’d get the chance to hold her so closely. Now, here he was … in a deathly silent bank vault… her arms were wrapped tightly around him… and his around her. He wanted so badly to kiss her in that moment, but he dared not do it.
Bonnie had become so comfortable propped up against his sturdy body, that the awkwardness of being alone with him had completely melted away.
The two F.L.A.G. agents fell asleep propped up against each other. Bonnie’s head was comfortably and innocently nestled against Michael’s neck and his head was leaned towards hers. Had one not known the nature of their relationship, one would have mistaken them for husband and wife, instead of co-workers.
They didn’t didn’t wake until the sound of Devon’s worried and anxious voice rang through their cramped quarters. “Michael! Bonnie! What on earth….? Michael… Bonnie… are you two alright?!”
Michael shifted slightly allowing his eyes to adjust to the light flooding in around Devon’s concerned figure. “Devon….. what are? Ooohhhh …. I can explain this.”
Devon nervously straightened his tie and answered, “I should hope so… Michael. From the looks of it… you and Dr. Barstow will need to do a great deal of explaining.”
As Devon spoke, Michael shook Bonnie awake. The female mechanic woke with a fright. Her blue green eyes widened taking in the lively scene around her. “Michael? Devon? Wha….what…is going on?”
Michael smiled and helped Bonnie to her feet. Then with a cheeky smile he said, “good morning sweetheart. I hope you slept well. I know I did.”
To this Bonnie smiled sheepishly stretching out her arms still covered by Michael’s coat before nudging Michael playfully. Taking the coat off the mechanic handed it to it’s proper owner. As the handsome male retrieved his coat she sternly hissed,”If you tell anyone about this…. I will strangle you Michael! And to answer your question, I slept very well thank you.”
All the teasing set aside, they quickly turned to the task of recovering KITT and putting the criminals behind bars where they belonged.
